FWOWers! for March 11, 2019
WOW!
What else could I pick (pun intended) for the first word of the first post of a blog named FWOWers!™?
I say "WOW" here for a lot of reasons, not the least of which, I'm a middle aged dude from flyover country who's starting a blog about flowers. That's a WOW. Suddenly I identify with the guy who "loves to press wildflowers" in Monty Python's "Lumberjack" sketch.
So, fine. Revoke my man card. I like flowers.
Those are pretty much my credentials. In other words, I'm no expert. I figure we can learn together as I comb the Net and share the flowers that, in my book: WOW!
Let's kick off Spring 2019 and this blog with the almost freakishly cheery pink daisies (Image by jill111) that grace the homepage of FWOWers.com. Man, something about that florid sea of petals just sings spring, don't you think? It's like going 100mph through a flamingo-feather car wash. Refreshing to say the least.
I hope this first post starts us off in the right direction as we wander for WOWs in the world of flowers and flower arrangements!
