WOW! What else could I pick (pun intended) for the first word of the first post of a blog named FWOWers!™? I say "WOW" here for a lot of reasons, not the least of which, I'm a middle aged dude from flyover country who's starting a blog about flowers. That's a WOW. Suddenly I identify with the guy who "loves to press wildflowers" in Monty Python's "Lumberjack" sketch. So, fine. Revoke my man card. I like flowers. Those are pretty much my credentials. In other words, I'm no expert. I figure we can learn together as I comb the Net and share the flowers that, in my book: WOW! Let's kick off Spring 2019 and this blog with the almost freakishly cheery pink daisies ( Image by jill111 ) that grace the homepage of FWOWers.com. Man, something about that florid sea of petals just sings spring, don't you think? It's like going 100mph through a flamingo-feather car wash. Refreshing to say the least. I hope this first post...
